About
I am Naomi. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Curaçao. I decided in 2006 that I wanted to become an anthropologist because I want to connect and understand different cultures. My study and travels have brought me so much wisdom that helped form me in the women that I am today. My trip to Ireland showed me how the journey within can be special and intimate. My trip to Ghana rooted me through the food and connection when language was absent. My trip to Indonesia awakened my taste buds.
The name Finding Nomad came to me in the search of myself. The picture of my inner self is a nomad. The strength and journey nomads portray and conquer give me peace. This peace gives me confidence to step into my true and authentic self. I want to help you find that peace within in order to step confidently forward in your journey. As an anthropologist I will show you what I have collected and as Naomi we will journey within. Here you will get to know my true joys.
I hope that you get inspired to joyfully live the life you are given.
